Google said a “significant subset” of Gmail users had service errors on Tuesday afternoon.

When users access their inbox, they may encounter “error messages, high latency, and / or other unexpected behavior,” the company wrote in a message on the service status page. Google said Gmail issues were fixed at 6:51 PM ET.

The error came just a day after several Google services, including Gmail, YouTube and Google Docs, suffered heavy losses.

The Downdetector, which monitors website issues, detects several issues affecting Gmail, starting around 3:00 PM ET. Users said they didn’t have access to their inbox, while others said they received feedback Gmail Numeric Code 6922 issue messages when they tried to send an email to someone with a Gmail address. ProtonMail says emails sent to Gmail users “leave” permanently and return error messages to the original sender.

Stages, Google’s cloud gaming service, also had problems this afternoon, but it’s not clear if they’re relevant. The company says one problem is “forbidding some users from running games.” Google told The Verge that the problem with the Stadium had been resolved at 4:31 PM ET and that “users should be able to play games as usual.”

Updated December 15, 7:15 PM ET: Google says Gmail issues have been fixed. This article has been updated to show that the issues have been resolved.
