How to Remove the Avast Email Signature-
Remove the Avast Email Signature
On Windows 10, the Avast email signature shows for Avast users. To get rid of it, start by right-clicking the orange Avast symbol on the taskbar, which can be found in the system tray area on the right.
1. Select the Open Avast user interface option from the MenuMenu.
2. The Avast user interface will appear. To go to the settings menu, go to the top-right and select MenuMenu.
4. Press the left-hand Protection tab in Avast’s options menu. Next, select the Core Shields option from a selection of Avast’s protective How to fix Gmail Temporary Error 500 features and options.
5. Scroll down to the Configure Shields Settings category in the Core Shields settings. Select Mail Shield from the drop-down MenuMenu.
6. In the Mail Shield menu, you’ll find several options for using Avast to secure your emails. To get rid of the Avast email signature, uncheck the option to add a signature to the end of sent emails.
When you uncheck the setting box, the setting should be disabled, preventing any future Avast advertising from being inserted to your email messages. If you’re happy with the changes, close the settings menu using the Close button in the top-left corner.
Protecting Windows 10 PCs
Avast is popular antiviruses, but with recent privacy scandals and contentious “features” like the Avast email signature, it’s worth looking at alternatives. Windows Defender, in particular, is an excellent way to keep your PC clean without having to use third-party software.
Antivirus software like Avast and AVG can help you recover from an infection, but it’s up to you to maintain your PC virus-free. You can keep your PC safe by keeping it up to date, which includes any installed software. You should also back up your files so that if you get a virus infection that you can’t recover from, you can easily erase your PC and start again.
